Yeeeeahhh... So it has come to my realization that the bulk of my writing for this story was crap. Since I last wrote for GS, I have improved a good deal, so any more work on this story will be a major rehaul. Consider this iteration of GS officially dead, and the story itself comatose. First update in... erk... nine months, but it's all good, right...? Anyways, the only thing worth mentioning is a new piece of artwork! Yay! In the Fan section, you (all none of you actually looking at this site anymore) will find a great picture of the ever adorable Jack o' Lantern, done by Celi, also known as Kemaru on... thatsillywebsiteisworeidnevergoonthatmaybehastheinitialsGO... I really love this pic though.

On the topic of the actually story... well, it's still in my thoughts, but there are so many problems/inconsistencies that have arisen, adding to the fact that I'd really like to change the whole tone of it... Point is, I'd like to rewrite it with a completely new structure and all, but school is tough this semester. Plus, I'm thinking of resurrecting another old story so... ja. But mark my words, I will finish GS someday.

Today is the birthday of a certain Hayes Emerson. If he were alive today he would be 140... But he's not, so he's just 23 again. While normally I haven't been announcing character birthdays, this one's a little different. I hadn't intended to release in this order, but seeing as it's his birthday, I felt I should honor him. Also, it's a hilarious coincidence that today happens to be Martin Luther King, Jr. Day... (I did not plan this, I swear! And speaking of which, that which I'd been avoiding has reared its ugly head...) So in that case, it's a birthday present for more than one person, and to you, the loyal readers. *hint* check around a little and you'll find something good...

First update (kinda) of this year! Not a story update, sorry, but I'm recruiting, or such. So far have had little success with my acquaintances, so I figured I'd make the offer public. Details can be found here. Don't expect to get much, since I haven't been so reliable myself, but it's better to say I tried. School's starting soon, but I have been working. Regrettably, I've been caught up a side story, and have been neglecting the main story. Gomen nasai! I'll buckle down and see if I can't push something out within the next few weeks.

The more eagle-eyed readers should be able to spot something of a small update to the site. It's not much, and it's not as good as what came before, despite being exactly 365 days in the making. However, it is something. Also, if people are reading this and do enjoy it, I would like some sort of confirmation/encouragement. Happy Independance Day, all! In celebration, EP 3 has finally been posted. (Actually, that's not the reason, but good coincidence, yeah?) A caution to anyone who hasn't read it yet, it's a little intense in one part, and probably shouldn't be read by children. -_-;;

New layout!!! Isn't it nice? Still needs work of course, but we're doing better than before. Also, the first three EPs have been edited, so you may wanna check those out. (EP 3 will be linked soon, I promise.) The character pages have been consolidated and reformatted, as well.
